Bonnybrook Parish - 50th Anniversary Celebrations

We were delighted to welcome Archbishop Diarmuid Martin once again to Bonnybrook Parish on Sunday, 22nd September 2019, as he celebrated Mass to begin a week of events to mark the Golden Jubilee of our Church. We also welcomed back many of the priests who served through the years and all our parishioners past and present. The week of celebrations was a wonderful moment in the life of Bonnybrook Parish and our community.

    Archbishop Diarmuid Martin celebrated Mass at the reopening of our refurbished Church on Saturday, 9 March 2019. Many parishioners and people involved in the project turned out for this momentous occasion. 

    A highlight of the ceremony was the consecration of the altar that was created for the Papal Mass in the Phoenix Park in August 2018 for the World Meeting of Families. The altar and ambo have found a new permanent home in St. Joseph the Artisan Church and we are honoured to have them here.
